Thursday, September 30th is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation in Canada.

From Sun 26th to Thur 30th September, the Khalsa Aid Canada social media platform will be taken over by indigenous voices. Many are of those who are friends and colleagues. We honour their voices and are humbled by their agreeing to share with us. We value Indigenous life experiences, views and voices.

For reconciliation to occur, we must first understand the truth and listen.

Just listen.

Again, thanks those who agreed to talk to us and also acknowledge that we live, work and play on your traditional territories.

If you need support, the National Indian Residential School Crisis Hotline can be reached at 1-866-925-4419, the First Nations and Inuit Hope for Wellness Help Line at 1-855-242-3310 and the Native Youth Crisis Hotline at 1-877-209-1266.
