These were the options given to Ravinder Singh, CEO/Founder of Khalsa Aid, during his visit to #Somalia in 2003.
Being a vegetarian, Ravinder Singh dropped into a local “market” to purchase some vegetables, and soon the whole village was watching him cook his meal in peanut oil.
It was the first time they had met a Sikh and a vegetarian.
The people in the area were most welcoming.
“The journey to build Khalsa Aid as an international organisation wasn’t easy, but it’s been well worth it” Ravinder Singh.
