Sham Singh(77) hails from Amritsar. He was suffering from osteoarthritis due to which he had to undergo knee replacement surgery.
Sham ji’s wife is a homemaker and his son works at a tea stall. He himself does free sewa at the Gurudwara Sahib’s ‘Jora Ghar’(shoe deposit room). The family income is limited to fulfilling the most basic needs.
Khalsa Aid sponsored Sham Singh’s surgery with 50,000 rupees.
