In January 2022, due to the severe food shortages. Syrian citizens were fleeing the country and arriving at the Iraqi border. Many of the refugees including children were arriving barefoot or with sandals in freezing cold temperatures. As part of our aid we were able to provide warm clothes and boots to those arriving at the border.
