What does the word Khalsa mean ? Why did we choose to call our organisation Khalsa Aid ? This name was chosen for this organisation because the meaning of the Khalsa is very relevant to humanity.
The Khalsa is the protector of the weak , the hope for the oppressed and the provider of food/shelter to the hungry .
We could have chosen any name when Khalsa Aid was launched in 1999 but chose Khalsa Aid.
The 10th Guru of the Sikhs, Guru Gobind Singh Ji is the father of the Khalsa Panth and whilst we celebrate the " Gurpurb" ( birthday ) of Guru Ji we must remember his message to all the humanity ;" Recognise Whole Of The Human Race As One !" ..
