“A boy who waited in line for an hour was holding his food, another man came Right to the front and asked if there was any food. I held up my hands to say “ten minutes”. The boy just extended his hand to the man and gave away his meal, they shared a head nod and a smile, and the boy just waited for the next serving. The situation is obviously not great, but these people are. They give me an understanding of what Chardi Kala really means.”
